NEW YORK, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the third annual Deloitte LLP Ethics & Workplace survey, 60 percent of business executives believe they have a right to know how employees portray themselves and their organizations in online social networks. However, employees disagree, as more than half (53 percent) say their social networking pages are not an employer's concern. Passaic County gets stimulus funds for job programs

Passaic County has received $4.8 million in federal stimulus money for job training to help displaced workers and to hire 800 youths for a summer jobs program.
The funding, which is part of the $787 billion stimulus package signed by President Obama in February, will be channeled to the Passaic County Workforce Investment Board, which operates job training centers in Clifton and Paterson.

Banks in Georgia and New Jersey were seized by regulators, raising the tally of failed lenders in the United States to 31. Silverton Bank of Atlanta, a commercial bank, was shut by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Citizens Community Bank in Ridgewood, N.J., was seized by the state’s Department of Banking and Insurance. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation was named receiver in both cases. Silverton Bank had about $4.1 billion in assets and $3.3 billion in deposits, and Citizens Community Bank had assets of $45.1 million and deposits of $43.7 million. Read More...
